Courtney Cox isn’t keeping her skin care regimen under lock and key. Recently, the actress, 60, playfully exaggerated her wellness routine on TikTok, emerging from an industrial-sized freezer wearing a sheet mask and red light hat. While she pokes fun at herself, Cox’s commitment to her beauty regimen is serious. In a newly published interview with Women’s Health, the Friends star delves into the skin care essentials she relies on, with a standout being her SPF regimen.

“My beauty routine is pretty basic,” the Homecourt founder shares. “I do love using a hot towel to take my makeup off. I have a warming caddy, and I put essential oils on my towels and then roll them up and put them in the hot towel caddy.” Alongside her face-washing ritual, protecting her skin with sunscreen is a priority, a habit she wishes she had started earlier. Cox reveals that she alternates between Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 and Dermalogica Invisible Defense SPF 30 to keep her skin protected.

Other staples in her skincare regimen include Retin-A, a prescription-only topical retinoid praised for its ability to promote cell turnover by shedding dead skin cells and stimulating the production of new, healthy ones. “I think turning your skin over is really good,” Cox told the magazine, referring to the ingredient. She pairs it with the celebrity-loved Augustinus Bader The Cream, a lightweight formula that hydrates, soothes, and calms, which is ideal since retinoids are prone to causing dryness and irritation.

She doesn’t skimp on body products, either. Recently, Cox has been reaching for brand-new products from Homecourt, the brand she launched in 2022. Two years ago, it debuted with home products such as a multipurpose surface cleaner, dish soap, hand wash, and room spray. It has since expanded into new territory: body care, including body wash and body butter, body mist, perfume oil, and a candle. The collection’s popularity is undeniable, with most items already sold out on the brand’s website.

All of the products share a signature scent called Cocomoi. “I wanted it to be a summer scent that had a fresh feeling, but not something that you had to only wear in the summer,” she says. “I love the smell of coconut, but I didn’t want it to be like a sunscreen. I wanted to have the freshness of coconut, the grounding essence of cedarwood—the beach meets the woods.”

Rest assured, Cox promises the scent isn’t too intense. “I’m not a perfume-y kind of girl,” she continues. “I like scents that are grounded, so this is perfect. This is something that it would go with anything.” She tells Women’s Health that the body mist is one of her top picks.“I’d never even heard of a body mist before, but now I’m obsessed with it,” she said. “I like that the smell the cedarwood pops more in the mist. I’m hoping that everyone will love it—it’s not overpowering, it’s sophisticated.”
